(Rancho Mirage, CA) – In a clear sign that momentum is rapidly building for Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone’s campaign for the 28th Senate District, Rancho Mirage Mayor Pro-Tem Dana Hobart has officially endorsed Supervisor Stone.

In making his endorsement of Jeff Stone for the 28th Senate District, Mr. Hobart issued the following statement:

“I am supporting Jeff Stone for State Senate because he is the best choice for the people of Coachella Valley and for the people of the 28th Senate District. His work on the Board of Supervisors has proven to me that he can work across partisan divides to bring about positive change for our local community.

“Jeff Stone is someone who has proven his ability to make a difference for our local communities, and he is the type of leader we need representing us in Sacramento. He has been an outstanding County Supervisor, and he’ll be able to make a real difference in Sacramento for the entire 28th Senate District.”

When Mayor Pro-Tem Hobart informed Supervisor Stone of his endorsement, Stone replied, “I am honored to have the support of such a distinguished and accomplished local leader. I am proud to have Mr. Hobart on board with my campaign, and I look forward to helping the people not just in Rancho Mirage, but in all of the communities of the 28th Senate District.”

Mayor Pro-Tem Hobart is a nationally recognized attorney who has been regularly named as one of the “Best Lawyers in America.” As Mayor Pro-Tem of Rancho Mirage, Mr. Hobart is a widely respected local leader who has lived in the city since 1993.
